John H. Jacobson, age 67 of Oshkosh, formerly of Sturgeon Bay, ran into the arms of his Savior on Wednesday, February 11, 2009. John was born on June 18, 1941 to Harold and Leona (Klessig) Jacobson in Munising, Michigan. Throughout his life John enjoyed listening to music, but he especially loved 50's music. He was also an avid sports fan, his favorite teams were the Packers and the Brewers.

John is survived by his siblings: Jillene Jacobson of Oshkosh, Wendy Faik of Sturgeon Bay, Elizabeth Jones of Milwaukee and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Edris Polakowski and brother Harold Jacobson.

A funeral service will be held for John at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, February 13, 2009, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. A time of visitation and sharing memories will be held Friday from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Park, Milwaukee.
