John M. "Jack" Jones, age 63 passed away at his home on Monday, May 10, 2010. He was born March 12, 1947, the son of Clifford and Harriet (Tank) Jones. Jack married the love of his life, Cinda Nitschke, on July 14, 1973.

Jack worked for Red Owl Foods for twelve and a half years, the Oshkosh School System for 27 years and also spent 19 years working as a custodian for First Congregational Church in Oshkosh. He was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church and in his free time enjoyed woodworking, gardening, fishing and guns.

Jack's memory will always be cherished by his adoring wife of 36 years, Cinda; his sisters, Donna Thomas and Betty (James) Hitz; brother, Thomas (Mary Lou) Jones; sisters-in-law, Susan (Robert) Rainey, Dianne (Jeffrey) Mariea, and Emily (Rodney) Gilliland; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Myron Thomas.

Memorial service for Jack will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 1072 Honey Creek Road, Oshkosh, Wisconsin. A time of visiting will take place at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
