John Mueller, age 93, of Oshkosh passed away on March 22, 2022. John was born on May 28, 1928 in West
Germany. He married Gertrude c. Arendholz on July 1, 1949. They immigrated to Oshkosh in March of 1954
with their son, Lothar. They became US citizens on November 23, 1959.

In Germany, Johns served as a Plumbing apprentice and received his Plumbing Journeyman's license on
November 8, 1947 prior to immigration.

In the US, he worked 12 years in Mechanical Engineering before applying to work as a state licensed Journeyman
Plumber,, passing his exam on August 8, 1966. On August 11, 1969, he became a Master Plumber, passed his Civil
Service exam and went to work for the University of Oshkosh in 1978. He retired on June 30, 1990.

John was a member of Plumbers Local 400 since 1966 until he died. He was also a patent holder for a mechanical
device that he received on August 20, 1991.

John is survived by his son, Lothar (Karen) Mueller and his grandsons, Christian and Alexander Mueller.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude and his two brothers in Germany.
