John P. Radermacher, age 82, of Oshkosh passed away at Aurora Medical Center on Tuesday, February 1, 2005. He was born September 27, 1922, in Hubertus, Wisconsin, the son of the late John and Anna (Hoffman) Radermacher. John married Shirley Mecus who preceded him in death. He later married Kathleen Wiener who survives him.
John served in WWII in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division Paratroopers in the European-African Theatre from 1942-1946. He retired as district manager from farm and industrial sales work.
John is survived by his wife, Kathleen of Oshkosh; his son, John A. (Jennie) Radermacher of England; daughter, Mary (Andrew) Somers of Fitchburg; ten grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He is furthers survived by his sister, Bernadine Holoubek; brother, David (Elizabeth) Radermacher; sister-in-laws, Gertrude (Fred) Plonsky and Ruth Niederer; nieces, nephews, other relatives; and friends. His sister Eileen Kohl precedes him in death.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 4, 2005 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 435 High Ave., Father Robert Kollath officiating. Family and Friends are invited to gather at the church on Friday at 10:00 A.M.
A DAV Ceremony will be performed. Inurnment will be at Lake View Memorial Park. A Memorial has been established.
