Joshua David Kwiatkowski, age 13, died unexpectedly October 17, 2003. He was born March 26, 1990 in Neenah, WI the son of Marty and Barb Ebben Kwiatkowski. Josh was an 8th grade student in the Minocqua Area School System. Josh was fun loving, energetic and had a passion for the outdoors and nature. He was a racing fan who enjoyed watching and keeping track of Rusty Wallace and his uncle Cliff Ebben. He thoroughly enjoyed cross country skiing, snowboarding, hunting, trapping, ice fishing, fishing in Canada, motorcycles, bowling, baseball, basketball and football.
Josh will always be loved and missed by his parents; Marty and Barb of Hazelhurst, his big brother, Sam of Madison, Grandma; Dorothy Kwiatkowski of Wautoma, aunts & uncles; Cathy Kwiatkowski of Madison, Steve (Denise) Kwiatkowski of Omro, Chris Grebe (Mike Hanley) of Wautoma and Karen Kwiatkowski of Wautoma, Cliff (Mary) Ebben of Appleton, Steve Ebben of New Mexico, Nancy (Charles) Burton of Green Bay, Peg Ebben of Greenville, Dan Ebben of Appleton, Eric (Dawn) Ebben of Reedsville, Tim (Sara) Ebben of Kimberly and Andy (Polly) Ebben of Hortonville, Cousins: Jim (Nikki), Joe, Ashantae, Chuckie, Kobie, Steve, Mike, Tom, Jon, Chris, Allyce, Makeena, Alex, Bailey, Bethanie, Brielle, Isaiah, Emily, Hannah, Caleb, Campbell, Michelle, Stefanie, Craig (Wendy), Brad, Katie, Jacob (Sarah) and Angela (Zack). He is further survived by his 8th grade classmates, school teachers, other relatives and many friends. Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents; Carl & Ruth Ebben and Andy Kwiatkowski and his uncle Tom Ebben.
Visitation for Josh will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church in Woodruff, WI from 4-8 p.m. with a scripture service at 8 p.m. and then on Thursday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Fr. Jim Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in the Minocqua Memorial Cemetery. Memorials in lieu of flowers in Josh's name may be directed to the Associated Bank in Minocqua, WI.
