Joyce M. Altmeier, age 86, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2013. She was born in Marquette, MI on November 12, 1926 the daughter of the late Amos and Loretta (Davis) Olmstead. On May 16, 1953 she married Erwin Altmeier, her husband of 49 years. He preceded her in death on October 12, 2002. Joyce was involved with her church and enjoyed bible study classes. She also enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. Joyce will be remembered by her many friends at Al-Anon.

Joyce is survived by her children: Sharon (Wayne) Link of New Berlin, WI and David B. Daum of Neenah; grandchildren: Daniel J. (Lucille) Dunn, Timothy Altmeier, D.J. Altmeier and Alexx Lena; and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son: Donald J. Altmeier; granddaughter, Sherrie E. Dunn; and her brother, James Olmsted.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Seefeld Funeral Home, with Rev. Jennifer Czarnota officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
