The step from this world into the next was but a small one for Joyce Germaine (Stang) Miller. She was born on April 5, 1927 in Oshkosh. Joyce was blessed with two children: Vicki Schmick of Taylorsville, Utah and Sandra Persad of Grand Prairie, Texas. She was loved by her six grandchildren: Troy Schmick of Des Plaines, Illinois; Trent Schmick of Evansville, Wisconsin; Tracy Contreras of Phoenix, Arizona; Shahida and Talieha Persad, both of Oshkosh; and Mitchael Persad of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Joyce was further blessed to enjoy the love of four great-grandchildren: Tyler Leach of Phoenix, Arizona; Sierra Contreras of Phoenix, Arizona; Nicolas and Austin Persad, both of Oshkosh.

On Tuesday January 31, 2006 her time on earth had come to an end, as she crossed over with her soul, to join the Creator for eternity, as she heard her final" Good Night Irene" from those she loved.

Services will be held privately through Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels. Joyce will be laid to rest at Lake View Memorial Park.
