Judith "Judy" M. Davis, age 70, of Omro, died peacefully October 31, 2011. Judy was born on August 26, 1941, in Oshkosh, the youngest of 16 children born to Harvey and Alvina (Weiner) Dumke. She married Merrill Davis on May 25, 1963. Judy enjoyed bowling, golfing and traveling. She and Merrill over the course of years traveled to 48 states and most of Canada on their motorcycle. Judy was an outgoing person who loved people; she had worked at various places as a waitress and bartender. She also loved playing the poker machines at the casinos and made several trips to Las Vegas. Above all else, she was a great Mom and loved her family deeply.
Judy is survived and will be missed by her husband, Merrill; son, James (Donna) Davis and daughter, Suzette Davis-Rice (Paul); her grandchildren, Alan Davis, Brandon Davis, Meghan Rice, Emily Rice and Jamie Rice; brother, Jack; sisters, Lorraine, Ellen and Joann. She was preceded in death by her son, Gerald; brothers, Bob, Art, Herb, Sonny, Bill, Roy, Jerry, Dick and Don; and sisters, Margaret and Betty.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Charles Davis officiating. A memorial in her name is being established.
