Obituary

Judith Ann (nee Brown) Stancer, known affectionally as "Judy", passed away on July 20,2024, at the age of 84 in Oshkosh, WI. She was born on March 7, 1940. Judy lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and a joy for living that touched everyone she knew.

Judy spent most of her career in healthcare, dedicating herself to the well-being of others. Her caring nature extended beyond her professional life into her personal interactions, where she was known for her soft voice, infectious smile, and a heart that seemed to never stop giving. Judy was the epitome of selflessness and a genuinely fun-loving person.

A lover of nature, Judy found solace and joy in gardening, cherishing all flowers with a special fondness for marigolds.  Her social spirit shone brightly during game days and coffee clutches with her friends at Briarwood Cottages clubhouse. Judy's presence was a source of comfort and happiness to all those around her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness in her three children: Dawn Moore (Jason), Paul Buchholz (Jacque), Scott Stancer (Anna); and her best friend, Helen Thompson. Judy was a cherished sister to Deborah Benjamin. Her joy will live on through her eight grandchildren: Randy Ochoa, Erika Ochoa, Elias Stancer, Ashley Schrank, Jacob Schrank, Cody Moore, Raquel Moore and Tristan Moore; as well as her six great-grandchildren: Audrianna Ochoa, Hudson Vedeer, McKenzi Schrank, Austin Schrank, Wesley Kempinger and Maeli Kempinger. She is survived by a nieces, Amy Counseller and Katie Benjamin; nephew, Chad Counseller, and several great nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Gladys Brown; her brother, Thomas Brown; and her grand-daughter, Tiffany Ann-Marie Schrank.

Per her wishes, no services will be held.

Judy was an angel in life and now in rest, remembered always as the angel she showed herself to be. Her memory will continue to inspire and influence all who had the privilege of knowing her.
