Judy A. Garcia, age 72, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. She was born in Wales, WI on December 25, 1945 the daughter of the late Alfred and Dorothy (Sayles) Budtke. She was a graduate of Waukesha South High School in 1964. On July 2, 1966 she married John Garcia in St. Paul Church, Genesee Depot, WI. Judy devoted her life to caring for others, working as a nursing assistant and hospice volunteer. She had a passion for traveling. She loved planning trips and visiting new places. She especially enjoyed visiting Alaska and going on cruises.

Judy is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, John; sister, Janet (Ronald) Fenske of Waukesha, WI; brothers-in-law: Salvador (Cindy) Garcia of Apache Junction, AZ, Alfred Garcia of Waukesha, WI, Mike (Sheri) Garcia of Pewaukee, WI; sister-in-law, Margie (Wayne) Puffer of Pewaukee, WI; and many loving nieces, nephews and close friends. She was preceded in death by her sisters: Valery (Alfred) Sommerfeldt and Iris (Alan) Beulen; and brother, Donald (Bernice) Gardinier.

A visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018 at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 370 Bowen St., Oshkosh, with Rev. Allen J. Kramp officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday in Salem Cemetery, Wales WI.
