June C. Granger (Dietrich) died peacefully at her home with loved ones surrounding her on July 27, 2016, at the age of 92. June was born on July 4, 1924, in Shawano, Wisconsin, the daughter of Ralph and Pearl Dietrich. She often joked that the Fourth of July parades and fireworks were in her honor. June was a very proud member of Oshkosh High School's graduating class of 1942. She married Lester H. Granger on August 24, 1946, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. They were married for 56 years. In addition to being a wonderful homemaker, June held several part time jobs with her last employer being Sears. June had a great competitive spirit; she loved bowling, golf, and a good game of cribbage. She was a lifelong member of Wesley United Methodist Church where she participated in numerous volunteer activities, including Mary Circle.
June is survived by her son, James Lester (Theresa) Granger of Apple Valley, Minnesota, and her grandchildren, Daniel (Janna) Granger of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Kelsey (Jason) Zander of Roberts, Wisconsin. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lester H. Granger; daughter, Jennifer L. Granger brother, Robert R. Dietrich and sister, Dorothy M. Darabosh.
Visitation will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church, 761 Florida Ave. Oshkosh, Wisconsin, on Monday, August 1st, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. G. Wiley Gladney officiating. A private interment will be held immediately following the service.

June's smile and energy could light up any room. She will forever be remembered for her gracious, fun loving spirit, and the love she shared with family and friends.
