June L. Heffner, age 92, died Monday, January 19, 2009 at her home. She was born May 17, 1916 to Frederick and Grace (Finch) Cummings. June married Frank Heffner on April 7, 1945 in Oshkosh. Frank preceded June in death on April 20, 2001. She enjoyed gardening and being a homemaker.

June is survived by her niece Mary Cummings of Milwaukee, nephew Steve (Dede) Cummings of Oshkosh, niece Rita (Don) Rosen of Minnesota, great-nephew Adam Cummings of Oshkosh, great-niece Anne Cummings of Denver, Colorado and her sister-in-law Jeanette Cummings of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, as well as her parents, a brother, Bob Cummings, and a great-niece Elizabeth Cummings.

Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 7:00 PM at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment will take place at Peace Lutheran Cemetery.
