June V. Miller, age 84, of Oshkosh, died Saturday morning, December 2, 2006 at Bethel Home. She was born on May 26, 1922 in the Township of Eldorado to Henry and Clara (Schwartz) Wegner. On October 7, 1944 June married Howard Miller and together they had two daughters.
June was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and enjoyed cooking and baking. She also enjoyed making her flower gardens blossom.
Survivors include her loving husband, Howard Miller, of Oshkosh; sister and brother-in-law, Elmyra and Harold Borgardt of Pickett; five nephews and five nieces; and several cousins. Preceding June in death are her parents; two daughters, Debra Miller on August 27, 1990 and Peggy Miller on April 11, 2006; two sisters, Myrtle Wegner and Lucille Weber; and two brothers, Melvin and Truman Wegner.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at 3:30 p.m. in Peace Lutheran Church, 240 W. 9th Ave., with Reverend Ralph Hanusa officiating. Interment will follow the service at St. John Cemetery in the Township of Nekimi. A time of visitation and support will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the church. Memorials are requested to Peace Lutheran Church Organ Fund or the Ecumenical Food Pantry in June's memory.
