Karine J. Garl, age 68, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011. She was a graduate of Oshkosh High School and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where she pursued a Masters Degree in English. Karine taught for several years at St. Mary's Central High School in Menasha, Wisconsin, and later was employed in the Oshkosh Public School System. She enjoyed gardening and writing.
Survivors include a son, Traeton (Alison) Garl; a grandson, Edison; a sister, Suzan (Frank) Otto; and two nieces. Preceding Karine in death are her parents, Karl and Amelia (Hartman) Zingler.
