Karla J. Pepperman, nee Martin, age 70, passed away at Mercy Medical Center on Monday, February 9, 2015. She was born in Oshkosh on August 18, 1944 the daughter of Reuben H. and Eunice I. (Berndt) Martin. Karla grew up in Oshkosh, graduating from Oshkosh High School (West), and moved to California where she lived for 35 years, and worked for the movie studios and later became an executive assistant for IBM. Karla loved movies and shopping. She will be remembered for being a very generous and sharing person.
Karla is survived by her mother, Eunice; sister, Gail (James) Jensen; nieces: Ann (Bryan) Springborn and their son Ethan, and Kristine Krablean and Greg Gottsacker, and their children: Drew and Clay Krablean, and Griffin, Keegan and Kendall Gottsacher; and family and friends in California. She was preceded in death by her father, Reuben.
Burial of Karla's cremated remains will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Oshkosh.
The family expresses a special thank you to Barbara and Jerome Mathe for being wonderful cousins and friends to Karla.
