Karla Adeline Schloerb, age 91 of Oshkosh, died at Aurora Medical Center on Friday, January 5, 2007. She was born to Theodore and Ada Anna Theresa (Bishop) Schloerb on September 28, 1915.
Karla was a sweet, caring, determined, independent woman. She was an active member of First Congregational Church being involved in many organizations. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Bethel Shrine. Karla was a nurse for Drs. Lynch, Wagner, and Scheuermann. After retirement she volunteered at Mercy Medical Center and was a member of the Mercy Medical Auxiliary. She also became a member of the Twentieth Century Club.
Karla is survived by her cousins: June Schloerb, Robert Hansen, and John Holzer; and life long friend: Jeanette Hebblewhite. She was preceded in death by a cousin: Ella May Schloerb.
Funeral services for Karla will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 10, 2007, at First Congregational Church, 137 Algoma Blvd., Reverend Ralph DiBiasio-Snyder. Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visiting and support at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in Karla's name to First Congregational Church. Condolences may be given online at www.seefeldfuneral.com.
