Obituary

Katherine "Kay" L. Biebl, age 79, passed away on October 12, 2023, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She was born to parents, Marvin and Genevieve (Demler) Brans, on August 6, 1944, in Wisconsin.

She married Joel F. Biebl on October 8, 1966. Kay was employed at the Winnebago Mental Health Institution for over thirty years.

After retiring, she enjoyed traveling, volunteering at both the Aurora Medical Hospital and Omro food pantry, and bowling. She was also a devout member of the St. Mary's Parish in Omro, Wisconsin. Kay was also a devoted Packer fan.

She is survived by her sisters, Marcia Bishop and Carrie (Gordon Sr.) Faust; sisters-in-law, Rosemary "Rose" Gormley and Margaret "Peggy" Gregg; brother-in-law, Wayne Williams; cousins; nieces; nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Kay was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; grandparents; sister, Lenore "Lorrie" Brans; brother-in-law, Scott Bishop; sister-in-law, Barbara Williams; as well as her aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Church, 730 Madison Ave, Omro, Wisconsin, 54963, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 9:00am to 11:00am, with Catholic Mass to follow. The burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Oshkosh, Wisconsin at a later date.

The family would like to thank Country Villa Assisted Living in Omro, Eden Meadows in Oshkosh, and ThedaCare Hospice, for taking excellent care of her during her final days of life.
