Katherine E. Disotell, age 98, of Berlin, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love and respect of her husband and other family members on Friday evening, September 12, 2014. She was born December 14, 1915, in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of the late Sebastian John and Anna (Ginder) Kloster. Katherine married Eric Pigorich of Auroraville, WI. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1984. She later married Oliver Disotell, of Berlin, on July 31, 1990. She was a homemaker, was active in church and school activities. Katherine loved to help children and for many years was involved with the P.T.A. and Rosebud Homemakers Club. She was physically active, yet took time to enjoy a good book. Katherine will be remembered for good conversation, her love of children, which included raising three generations of nieces and nephews as her own, helping others, and especially for having a "Huge Heart."
Katherine is survived by her husband, Oliver; great niece and great nephew, Connie and Craig (Melissa) Chamberlin; niece, Leone Thull; nephew, Neil Etrick; great great niece, Cassi (Tony) Alberson; great great great niece, Ariana Gonzales and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, brother, and a great great nephew, Eric Gonzales.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at St. James Catholic Church in Neshkoro, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Mass at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Dan Viertel officiating. She will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Berlin.

A memorial fund in Katherine's name has been established for Agnesian Health Care Hospice.
