Obituary
Kathleen "Kathy" A. (Pheifer) Geerdts, age 71, passed away on November 1, 2023, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She was born to parents, Alfred and Doris (Elliott) Pheifer, on September 19, 1952, in Neenah, Wisconsin.
She graduated from Neenah High School and went to work as an industrial seamstress. On July 24, 1982, she married the love of her life, Michael Geerdts, in Winneconne, Wisconsin. They were able to share 36 years together, until his passing.
Kathy enjoyed taking road trips on a whim. She would often grab a map and point to a spot and go. On road trips or at home, spending time with her family was the most important thing to her. She was very kind, compassionate and supportive. Her puppy Willow was also a faithful companion up until the end.
She is survived by her three children, Rob (Amy) Geerdts, Dan (significant other, Nicole E.) Moderson, and Kelly Moderson; grandchildren, Tatum, Olivia, Samantha, and Marti; and three great-grandchildren; as well as her brother, Earl (Michelle) Pheifer; and other family and friends.
Preceding her in death is her husband, Michael Geerdts; her parents; and her brother, Elliott Pheifer.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, at Kwiatkowski Funeral Home, 425 Jefferson Ave., Omro, WI 54963.
