Kathleen M. Minckler "Kathy", age 49, of Omro, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2008, at Aurora Medical Center. She was born in Oshkosh on February 11, 1958, the daughter of Alan & Iris Budtke Beulen. Kathy was educated in the Omro School System and was a graduate of Omro High School. She had worked at Rogge's and Speed Queen. Kathy was a person who loved all of God's creations. She especially enjoyed the outdoors, thunderstorms and gardening. Her family will fondly recall her love of fishing, traveling, her grandchildren and cooking; especially cooking for Christmas, which was her specialty.

Kathy is loved and will be missed by her husband, John Minckler of Omro, her son, Kevin Beulen, step daughters, Dezaray Soda and Heather Redmann; grandchildren, Jacob, Kaitlynn and Austin; brothers and sisters, James A. (Katherine) Beulen, Steven R. Beulen, Cynthia R. (Larry) Larsen, Donna J. (James) Davis, all of Omro and Lori L. (Paul) Weisse of Appleton. She is further survived by a brother in law, Scott Minckler, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Alan and Iris Beulen; mother in law, Nyokah "Mickie" Miller; father in law, Charles "Chuckles" Minckler; and her nephew, Nathanial.

In respect to Kathy's memory, all relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, January 24, 2008, at the Omro Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. and then again on Friday, January 25, 2008, at Grace Lutheran Church, 720 Jackson Ave., Omro from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. John Brogaard officiating. Burial will follow in Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh. A memorial in Kathy's name is being established.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Aurora Medical Center, Dr's Green, Gu and Wilson and especially Audrey and Megan for the compassionate care shown Kathy and the rest of her family.
