Kathy M. Henke Bartow age 36 of Oshkosh, died peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family early Monday morning April 14, 2003. She was born December 22, 1966 in Oshkosh, WI the daughter of Theodore and Evelyn Graper Henke. Kathy was a graduate of Winneconne High School, loved reading, taking care of her children and spending time with family.

While her cancer progressed, Kathy was able to be at home with her family while her mother and sister Carol tenderly cared for her. She will be missed and always remembered by her mother, Evelyn Henke of Omro, sons; Paul & Wilbur of Oshkosh, daughters; Carrie of Oshkosh & Amanda of Omro, brother; Gary (Faye) Henke of Omro, sisters; Arlene (William) May of Rhinelander, WI and Carol Kruse of Oshkosh, special Uncle Freddy Merkey of Winneconne, dear friend Judy (Dave) Weiss of Omro whom she met through Big Brothers and Big Sisters when she was 8 years old, Nieces and Nephews; Brett, Jamie, Jason, Jennifer, Samantha & Brandan other relatives and many friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Henke.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at the Omro Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. with Rev. Ryan Willis officiating. Burial will be private in Omro Cemetery. A memorial in Kathy's name has been established.
