Kenneth R. Kifer, age 54 of Oshkosh died at Mercy Medical Center on Wednesday, May 5, 2010. He was born in Keyser, West Virginia on December 22, 1955 to Melvin and Particia (Grove) Kifer. His family moved to Oshkosh and on July 11, 1986 he married Mary Diehl.

A good hearted person, Ken enjoyed helping people. He looked forward to hunting with his granddaughter. Ken could often be found at the Harley shop and working on cars. A truck driver by trade, Ken made sure he called home every day.

Mourning the death of Ken are his wife of 23 years, Mary Kifer; children: Richard (Lori) Ryckman, Karen (Mike) Meyers, Deborah (Larry) Stratton, and Timothy Ryckman; 10 grandchildren; his mother, Patricia Kifer; siblings: Eugene (Julie) Kifer, Debra (Gary) Baldwin, LeRoy (Diana) Kifer, and Dennis (Kim) Kifer; 14 nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and good friends, Donald and Robert Sharpless. Ken was preceded in death by his father Melvin Kifer and uncle, Edward Kifer.

Funeral services for Ken will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 10, 2010, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Streeet.
