Kenneth L. Meyer, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. He was born in Reedsville on September 23, 1931 the son of the late Leonard and Esther (Heiser) Meyer. Ken was a salesperson for Northern Propane for many years before he moved to New Mexico. There he worked for Clayton Homes, retiring in 2002. He loved golfing, playing Sheephead, the Packers, and was an avid reader. Ken was known to go on spur of the moment adventures whether it be hiking unprepared in the desert or other exploring. He will be remembered for being a very fun-loving person who was always happy.
Ken is survived by his children: Lynn (Wes) Tomasek of Omro, Debra Hepola of Hortonville, Chris Meyer of Columbia, South America; Dawn (Pat O'Brien) Meyer of Madison; Randall (Wendy) Meyer of Larsen; Scott (Sue) Meyer of Oshkosh, and Brian (Dawn Kealey) Meyer of Omro; grandchildren: Buffy, Jennifer, Jamie, Samantha and Ray; great-grandchildren: Owen, Rory, Ajay, Lauren and Bryce; and sisters: Arlene (Bill) Hanson and Tuddy (Mike) Loose. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill (Carol) Meyer; and sister, Jean (Lloyd) Schaefer.
A family gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Iron Buffalo Saloon, Menchalville, WI.
