Kenneth C. Reinke, age 57, of Oshkosh, died peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, December 26, 2006. He was born on March 7, 1949 to Chester and Cornelia (Barttelt) Reinke in Oshkosh. Kenneth married Ann Zarling on September 9, 1978 in Oshkosh.
Kenneth was an outdoorsman. He loved to go camping and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Kenneth also enjoyed bowling and trap shooting. He was a member of the Rustling Meadows Shooting Preserves.
Survivors include his wife, Ann; son, Steven; mother, Cornelia; two brothers, Keith (Sue) Reinke and Terry (Renee) Reinke, all of Oshkosh. An aunt, Cecelia Kiesow, of Oshkosh; an uncle, Amos Reinke of Fox Lake, Illinois; a brother-in-law, David (MaryAnn) Zarling of Oshkosh further survive Kenneth. Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends also survive Kenneth. He was preceded in death by his father; uncles: Lawrence, Forrest, Kurt, and Nile; and his parents-in-law.
Funeral services for Kenneth will be on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at Seefeld Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. Pastor Chuck Fluegel will be officiating. Friends may gather for a time of support from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, December 29, 2006 and again from 9:00 A.M. on Saturday morning until the time of service. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Kenneth's name for the Special Olympics.
