Lance D. Haase, age 44 of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, March 25, 2009. He was born in Fond du Lac to William and Peggy (Stallard) Haase on July 23, 1964. He was raised in St. Joseph, Missouri. On July 17, 1989 he married Connie Galica. Together they made their home in Oshkosh and raised their family.

Lance loved the outdoors; fishing, camping, hunting. He looked forward to rides thru the park with his children. Then in the evenings sit around the fire with family and friends.

Surviving Lance is his wife, Connie; children: April (Adam), Jeremy, Keishia, Shala, Kelsey, Jalen, Lindsey, Renessa (Jeremy), Robert, and Lance Jr.; grandchildren: Tanner, Kaitlyn, Connor, Adilay, and Alexis; mother, Peggy Stallard; siblings: Theresa (Al) Simmering, Shelly (Mike) Boldridge and Billy (Joyce) Haase; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins, and friends. Lance was preceded in death by his father, William Haase Jr.; grandparents; mother-in-law, Beverly Galica; and many special people in his life.

A memorial service for Lance will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, March 30, 2009, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. A time for sharing memories and support will be held at the funeral chapel on Monday from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for his children.
