LaRue M. Davis, age 90, of rural Omro, died early Tuesday morning, July 13, 2010 at the Omro Care Center. She was born on June 18, 1920 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Edwin and Emma (Liddle) Schnell. She married Robert J. Davis and he preceded her in death on September 10, 1976. LaRue had a gift and was very talented at crafts. She also liked to go shopping, and enjoyed baking and cooking, flowers and gardening.

LaRue is survived by her children, Roxanne Ehlers, James Davis, Sr., Wayne Davis and Dale Davis; grandchildren, Laurie Wisnefski, Jill Petig, Jimmy Davis, Jr., Julie Davis, Rachel Krebs and Jeremy Davis; 7 great grandchildren; her sister, Eleanore Danke; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert.

There will be no formal funeral service. She was laid to rest at Omro Cemetery next to Pa.
