Lawrence "Butch" W. Barth, age 50, of Omro, passed peacefully on Friday, May 18, 2007 at Aurora Medical Center as a result of health complications. He was born in Omro on December 9, 1956, the son of Lawrence M. and Patricia (Beirman) Barth. He was educated in the Omro School System. Butch was a true sportsman who enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and spending time outdoors on the river and at the family cottage.

Butch is survived by his wife, Dawn; son and best friend, Jeremy (Jill) of Franklin, WI; brother, Thomas (Nanci) Barth of Omro; nephew, Justin of Omro; stepson, Ken Abitz; Jeremy's mother, Brenda (Mike) Sperger; his K-9 companion, Abby; close friend, Jerry Hill; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Patricia Barth.

In respect to Butch's memory, visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at the Omro Funeral Home from 4 -8 P.M. There will be a prayer and video presentation at 7:00 P.M.
