Lawrence "Larry" W. Hess, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. He was born in Oshkosh on November 18, 1942 the son of the late Albert and Eleanor (Hart) Hess. Larry worked at L&W construction company as an operator. He was proud to be a member of Local #139 Operators Engineer Union. After his retirement, Larry enjoyed socializing with friends and tinkering with engines. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and vast knowledge of sports.

Larry is survived by his son, DuWayne (Bonnie) Hess; grandson, Branden; step-granddaughter, Brittney; brother, Tom (Linda) Hess; nephew, Zach (Kristy) Hess; mother of his son, Marcella Collins; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and special companion, Pat Hanson.

It was Larry's wish to be cremated with no service. Burial will be in Rushford Cemetery.
