Lenora Rogers, 89, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully early Christmas Eve morning, December 24, 2004, at Bethel Home. She was born on June 11, 1915 in the Town of Morris in Shawano County, a daughter of the late Mason and Laura (nee Olmsted) Buck. Lenora married Rudy Guetschow and they had five children. She later married the love of her life, Arleigh Rogers. Their frequent motor home trips to Alaska brought great joy to their lives. She enjoyed making craft projects that she gave as gifts.
She is survived by her children, Betty (Fred) Litjens and Gary (Jane) Guetschow both of Oshkosh, David Guetschow of Homer, Alaska and Dan (Debra) Guetschow of Madison; grandchildren, Lisa Winkler (fiance Kevin Gilbert), Susan Litjens, Tony (Michelle) Litjens, Scott (Nancy) Guetschow, Connie (David) Dugolenski, Stephanie, Brooks and Ruben Guetschow; great-grandchildren, Alexander Winkler, John and Abby Litjens, Samantha Hood; sister, Shirley (William) Calkins; brother, Edward Buck; and special friend, Roger Ely. She was preceded in death by her son Steven Guetschow; grandson, Justin Guetschow; and siblings, Alfred Buck, Mary Christensen, Emma Mortenson, Luella Joubert, Dorothy Balke and Gerald Buck.
Services for Lenora will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, December 28th, at the Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. Chaplain Cathie Vander Velden of Bethel Home will lead the reflection service. Family and friends may call at the Seefeld Oregon Street Chapel on Tuesday beginning at 10:30 AM. She will be laid to rest at Pine River Cemetery in Waushara County.
