Leone C. Crawford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Leone was born in Berlin, the daughter of John M. and Amanda (Schrader) Ikeman. Leone graduated from Berlin High School and married William Kendall Crawford of Berlin where they resided and raised their three children.
Leone is survived by her children: Kathryn Crawford (Ron) Halliday of Oshkosh, William (Debbie) Crawford of Fond du Lac, and Susan Crawford (Dr Michael) Smits of
Appleton; grandchildren: Christopher (Heidi) Seaman of Omro and their daughter, Abbigail Faye, Aaron Seaman of Oshkosh, Kirk (fiancé Elizabeth) Crawford of Madison, and Kelli (Craig) Youngbeck of Fond du Lac; sister, Virginia Holdorf of Ripon; many wonderful nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Leone was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, William Kendall "Ken" Crawford; brothers, Russell Eichman and Louis Eichman; sisters, Nona Engle and Lorraine Alberts; sisters-in-law, Beatrice Eichman and Florence Eichman; and brothers-in-law, Lyndon Alberts, Roland Holdorf and Gilbert Engle.
Leone will be greatly missed by her family, but what special memories she created for us all to remember her by. A private family memorial will be held. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Berlin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bethel Home Special Care Unit.
The family extends a most appreciative thank you to the Nurses, CNA's and Staff at Bethel Home, for the very loving and special care Leone received.
