Lilly Frances "Fran" Peerenboom, age 90, passed away at Mercy Medical Center on Tuesday, November 11, 2014. She was born in Corona, CA on December 25, 1923, the daughter of the late William and Zoa (Buckley) Bradley. On October 25, 1941 she married Anthony Peerenboom, known as Clifford, in Visalia, CA. He preceded her in death in 1987. Fran worked in the "ship yards" during World War II. While is Oshkosh she was a Transfer Molder at SNC. Fran enjoyed traveling, playing card, singing with the "group" at Bethel home, and exercise. She will be remembered for her love of people and her ability to make friends.
Fran is survived by her children: Richard Peerenboom of Oshkosh, Mary Miller of Tennessee, Betty Addington of Little Chute, Donna (Lew) Bose of Sarasota, FL, Clifford Peerenboom of Las Vegas, Patricia Walker of Little Chute, Nancy (Curt) Becker of Oshkosh, Peter (Orlana) Peerenboom of Tennessee, Doris Peerenboom of Oshkosh, Debra (special friend, Gene) Peerenboom of Oshkosh, Gloria Nemitz of Oshkosh, Judy Paulik of Clintonville, Frank (special friend, Lisa) Peerenboom of Oshkosh; 20 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 15 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one grandchild, six great-grandchildren, and sister, Doris Parks.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2014, at the funeral home. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
