Linda Fernandez, age 59, of Ripon, passed away at Mercy Medical Center, in Oshkosh, on Thursday, December 13, 2007. Linda was born on January 7, 1948 in Beaver Dam, to Karl and Gloria Machkovitz Loeck. She worked in the restaurant field most of her life. Linda will best be remembered for her cheery disposition, and how she loved to laugh. She would want everyone to remember the good times! She enjoyed playing Bingo, cards and games. She was a Packers fan.

Linda is survived and will be missed by her daughter, Alicia Fernandez of Green Bay; her mother, Gloria Loeck of Beaver Dam; her brother, Karl (Margret) Loeck of Crockett, CA; four sisters, Karen (Harvey) Westhuis of Brandon, Sandy (Gary) Berenz of Fond du Lac, Debbie (David) Lamers of Beaver Dam, Donna ( Steve) Brooks of Prairie du Sac; her long time friend, Steve Hoffman of Ripon; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Fernandez in 1975, her father, Karl Loeck, Sr., and infant brother, Richard Loeck.

A time of visitation will be held at the Omro funeral home on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. A memorial is being established in her name. Linda's family would like to thank the staffs at Mercy Medical Center and Ripon Medical Center for their care of Linda.
