Linda L. Goode, age 67, of Oshkosh, died Monday morning, March 26, 2012, at Aurora Medical Center. Born on July 19, 1944, in Oshkosh, to Henry and Evelyn (Calkins) Klemmer, Linda married Walter J. Goode Sr. on March 15, 1969 in Amenia, New York. Walt preceded Linda in death on December 5, 2008.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Nekimi. Her favorite activities were talking on the CB radio, dancing, singing, and was an avid Packer fan. Linda supported her husband's activities with the Oshkosh Eagles Club.
Left to mourn her passing are her children, Faith Fraser of Oshkosh, Jessica (Jeffrey) Radig of Oshkosh, Jess (Heather) Fraser of Beloit, and Walter (Heidi) Goode Jr. of Oshkosh; a son-in-law, Kenneth Bednarek of Oshkosh; 13 grandchildren, William, Natasha, Matthew, Gregory, Colton, McKenzie, Eric, Justin, Tylor, Brittany, Damian, Matthew, and Casey; ten great-grandchildren; her siblings, Beverly (Bernie) Doucette of Marinette, Wisconsin, Kay (Tom) Reetz, Bonnie (Tom) Manske, Peggy (Jack) O'Brien, Henry (Cheryl) Klemmer, Donald (Lynn) Klemmer, Randy Klemmer, and Mark (Tina) Klemmer, all of Oshkosh; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Linda in death is her husband, parents, an infant son, David, a granddaughter, Keely, and a sister, Virginia Turnmeyer.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at 12 Noon, in the chapel of Lake View Memorial Park, 2786 Algoma Blvd. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon p.m. at the chapel.
