Linda E. Simpson, age 79, of Oshkosh, died Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on November 27, 1928 in Poy Sippi to William and Clara (Martin) Krueger. On June 5, 1957 Linda married Kenneth Simpson and he preceded her in death on July 9, 1979.


Linda was a waitress for Steeles Restaurant in Berlin, was employed by Pioneer Resort, Anderson Cleaning, and the YMCA in janitorial service. She was Lutheran by faith.


Survivors include two sons, Robert Simpson of Oshkosh, and John (JoAnne) Simpson of Ft. Worth, Texas; two daughters, Marie (Robert) Miller of Pine River and Dawn Simpson of Redgranite; a granddaughter, Susan (Jason) Guist of Poy Sippi; a great-grandson, Schuyler Guist; and a sister-in-law, Anita Krueger. Preceding Linda in death are her husband; parents; a sister, Dorothy Klick; and two brothers, Carl and Louie Krueger.
