Obituary

Linda L. Steinhilber, age 94, of Oshkosh, died Thursday afternoon, August 27, 2015, at Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation Center. Born on December 15, 1920, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Hartman) Fischer, Linda married Roland J. Steinhilber on February 5, 1944. Roland preceded Linda in death on August 8, 1999.
A long-time active member of Plymouth Congregational Church, where she served as a Deaconess and Adult Bible Study Leader, Linda enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, gardening, and traveling to Colorado to visit family members. She was employed for many years as a Credit Manager at Kline's Department Store and after retiring, Linda, was employed by Banner Store as a Retail Sales Clerk.
Survivors include a son, Gary Steinhilber of Oshkosh; two daughters, Doreen Steinhilber of Denver, Colorado, and Debra (David) Worby of Parker, Colorado; two grandchildren, Lindsay (Austin) Stover and Joshua Worby; a great-granddaughter, Adelynn Stover; and a sister, Alma Kosmer of Oshkosh. Preceding Linda in death is her husband; a brother, Alex Fischer; and six sisters, Elizabeth Guenther, Leah Steinhilber, Ann Neustifter, Lydia Demler, Esther Baethke, and Marion Lisney.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in Plymouth Congregational Church, 1325 Georgia Street. Entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park Mausoleum. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Online condolences to the family may be made at www.seefeldfuneral.com.
