Lois A. Bochinski, age 78, of Oshkosh, died Wednesday morning, September 24, 2014, at Bridgewood Nursing & Rehabilitation in Neenah. Born in Ashland, Wisconsin, on July 16, 1936, to Frank and Martha (Zier) Pflanzer, Lois married Joseph Bochinski on May 6, 1961, in Oshkosh, and he preceded her in death on May 28, 2014.
Family was a very important part of Lois' life, raising two daughters, and being an active part of her granddaughter's activities. Lois enjoyed playing Bingo, reading, and visiting various casinos.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Bochinski and Susan (Duane) Miller, both of Oshkosh; a granddaughter, Jessika (Alex Drews) Miller; a brother, Carl (Patricia) Pflanzer; three sisters-in-law, Virginia Pflanzer, Lucy Pflanzer, and Mary Jo (Robert) Zier; four brothers-n-law, Gerald (Bonnie) Bochinski, James (Judy) Bochinski, Tommy (Linda) Bochinski, and Jack (Sue) Bochinski; and nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceding Lois in death is her husband, parents, four brothers, Frank, Jerald, Gene, and David Pflanzer; and a sister, Judith Bumgarner.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 29, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. in Seefeld Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, with Reverend William Van DeKreeke officiating.
