Lois J. "Gabby" Magnuson (Nee Pinno), 62, of Oshkosh, formerly of Omro, died Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born on October 22, 1944 to Paul and Esther (Schwartz) Pinno. On December 20, 1969, she married Edward "Larry" Magnuson in Cook County, Illinois. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2000. Lois was a proud and doting grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren, her dog, Peanut and playing bingo. She dedicated most of her life to being a loving caregiver to others and was a past member of the Omro Lioness Club.

Lois is survived by her children, David (Beth) Pinno of Oshkosh, Dawn (Kenneth) Oesterreich of Berlin and Duane (Courtney) Magnuson of Fremont; grandchildren, Christopher, Sydney, Brionna, Courtney and Allie, Casara, Andrew, Samantha and expected grandson; sisters, Joy (Dennis) Dushenski, Jeanette Heimerman; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Esther Pinno, husband, Edward "Larry" Magnuson and brother, Duane Pinno.

In respect to Lois's memory, the family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the Omro Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Mike Magnuson officiating. A memorial is being established in her name.

The family would like to thank Mercy Medical Center and staff for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Lois and the rest of her family.
