Lorraine L. Tritt Nachtrab, age 75 of Omro, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2004 after a courageous battle with cancer at Mercy Medical Center. Lorraine was born in the Town of Poygan on October 15, 1929 to Harry A. and Helen Secora Tritt. She married Frank Nachtrab on May 13, 1948, they divorced in 1973. Lorraine worked as an LPN for Dr. McDonald, Mercy, Extended Care (MECCA) and the Omro Care Center. Lorraine enjoyed playing cards, especially with her "Over the Bridge Card Club", playing Bingo, she crocheted and was an avid sports fan. In her younger years she bowled, fished and played softball on St. Mary's ball team. She was very active in leadership roles for her children and for others, including being a founding member of the Omro Athletic Association. Most people will remember Lorraine's feistiness.

Lorraine is survived and will be missed by 4 sons; Terry (Cathy) of Pine River, Scott of Omro, Todd (Brenda) of Princeton and Jammie of Berlin, 2 daughters; Roxann (Jerry) Stroh of Spokane, Washington and Lennette (William) Radig of Omro, 12 grandchildren, and one great grandchild; her brothers, Robert (Fern) Tritt, Max (Marie) Tritt, Harold Tritt, William (June) Tritt; sister in law, Edith Tritt, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Robin Ray; sister, Vivian (Howard) James; brothers, Elton Tritt, Gordon (Betty) Tritt, Norman Tritt and sister in law, Evelyn Tritt.

Visitation will be at the Omro Funeral Home on Friday, November 5, 2004 from 3:30 to 7 p.m. and then on Saturday, November 6, 2004 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Omro from 10 to 11 a.m. with the Mass to follow at 11 a.m. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Mercy Medical center for making Lorraine's final days special.
