Lorraine Clara Womaski, age 92, died on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Evergreen Manor. Lorraine was born in Oshkosh on January 13, 1921 the daughter of the late Frank and Leona (Schuff) Nachtman. She married Joseph Womaski and had a beloved daughter, Barbara Ellen, who preceded them in death. Lorraine attended local schools and graduated from Oshkosh High School. She enjoyed reading and traveling. Following many years of dedicated employment at Winnebago Health Institution, she retired and enjoyed traveling. Lorraine was a dedicated life-long member of Christ Lutheran Church. While being active in the church she enjoyed helping with bingo at Parkview Health Center, quilting, and participated as a Sunday School Teacher.
Lorraine is survived by her sister, Betty (Robert) Boheen of Oshkosh; nephews: Craig (Diane) Boheen of Kenosha and David Baerwald of Oshkosh, and Gwen Heagle of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara; her parents; and her sister, Dorothy Baerwald.
Lorraine's visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Seefeld Funeral Home, with Rev. Jennifer Czarnota officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.
