Obituary

Louise M. Weiner passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014. Louise was born in the town of Omro, WI, on October 12, 1915, the daughter of Harold and Erma (Foote) Searls. She attended Omro grade school and graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1933. On February 14, 1936, she married Bernard Weiner who died on October 8, 1964. They had one son, Michael B. Weiner, who passed away on September 11, 1963.
Louise was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, the VP's of Peace, and the Rebecca Circle. She had been active in Bethel Home Auxiliary, Campfire Girls Organization, and Winnebago County Homemakers. Louise was employed by the City of Oshkosh for 22 ½ years in the Treasurer's Office, the Police Department, and retired September 30, 1978 as Secretary to the Fire Chief.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, son, husband; a brother, Arthur Searls; and nephew, John Searls; Louise is survived by nephews, James (Cheryl) Searls of Madison, and Peter Searls Wild Rose and niece, Susan Searls of Oshkosh
and their families and special friend, Lillian Diskowski.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014 at Bethel Home Chapel from 12:00 Noon, until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m.
Memorials can be made to Peace Lutheran Church and the Bethel Home Chapel.
