Obituary

Lucile E. Rickert, age 92 of Oshkosh died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Evergreen Retirement Community. She was born October 1, 1917, the daughter of Alfred and Esther (Madaus) Abraham in Black Wolf. On November 9, 1935 she married Lester John Rickert and he preceded her in death on September 13, 1973.
She and her husband farmed alongside each other in the town of Eldorado for 25 years. She also was a Machine Winder for SNC for 27 years. Lucile was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and Grace Forever Young Group. Lucile enjoyed reading, playing cards and board games with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and just spending time with family and friends.
Left to mourn Lucile's passing and to cherish her memory are her children: Stan (Brenda) Rickert of Appleton, LaVerna Woschnick of Oshkosh, Shirley (Rolland) Guldan of Wisconsin Rapids; grandchildren: Randy (Vicki) Woschnick, Pam (Jim) Gibson, Laurie Woschnick, Becky (Brian) Streck, Vicki Woschnick, Wendy Duerr, Jeff (Bev) Guldan, Rhonda (Joel) Kluessendorf, Darin Rickert, Nathan Rickert; great-grandchildren: Cory Duerr, Jennifer (Marty) Ferguson, Ben and Emily Woschnick, Alex and Carlie Streck, Amy (Sean) Marquard, Becky Kessler and Andy (Sara) Kessler; great-great-grandchildren: Kassidy Ferguson, Ella and Ada Kessler. She is further survived by her siblings: Marvin Abraham, Norbert Abraham, Orville (Nancy) Abraham, Irma Draves, Laverne (Forrest) Wolf; sisters-in-law: Judy Abraham and Arlene Abraham. Lucile was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son-in-law, Hank Woschnick Jr.; 3 brothers and a sister.
Funeral service for Lucile will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Grace Lutheran Church, 913 Nebraska Street, Oshkosh. A time of visiting will take place at the church on Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery.
