Lucille M. Wagner, age 89, of Ripon, died Monday morning, September 30, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center. Lucille was born April 3, 1924, in Green Lake County, the daughter of Christian and Jessie (Waters) Winters. She was a graduate of Omro High School. Lucille married Anthony Wagner on November 26, 1943 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Omro. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1979. Lucille worked side by side with her husband on the family farm. She enjoyed embroidery, dancing, and watching sports on TV. Lucille especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Lucille is loved and will be missed by her children, Donald (Darlene) Wagner, Lila (Ray) Ellis, Ronald (Diane) Wagner and Cindy (John) Mullowney; grandchildren, Steve, Scott, Lisa, Shaun, Jodie, Darrin, Brenda, Mike, Greg, Darren, Jodi, Toni, Patrick and Matthew; 26 great grandchildren; sisters, Elaine Altmann and Joyce (Ed) Quigley; sister in laws, June Winters and Janet Wagner, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Christian and sister, Dorothy.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, October 3, 2013, in Marian Hall at St. Mary Catholic Church, 730 Madison Ave., Omro, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 7:00 p.m. Lucille will be laid to rest next to her husband at Omro Cemetery. Memorials in Lucille's name may be directed to St. Mary Catholic Church, Omro.
