Luella (Hoeft) Weller, age 88, passed away on January 27, 2013 at Juliette Manor in Berlin. She was born on October 20, 1924, in the town of Poy Sippi to George and Bertha (Lane) Hoeft. She was a graduate of Omro High School and Waushara County Normal School. Luella also attended Stevens Point State Teachers College. She taught rural schools in Waushara and Washington Counties. On June 24, 1950, she was united in marriage to Richard O. Weller at the Borth Evangelical United Brethren Church. He preceded her in death on January 23, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers - Kenneth, Norman, Donald, Lewis and Raymond and sisters-in-law – Marie, Virginia, Edna Mae, Bobbe, Neva, and Doris.
Survivors are her daughters, Gail (Gale) McNamee and Joan Weller (Stephen Plumb), nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild, brothers - Hubert, Merlin (Ferne) and Robert, sister-in-law Catherine and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers at Juliette Manor Nursing Home, for the many years of love and care they had given to Luella.
Memorial services will be held at Borth United Methodist Church, W304 County Road D, Borth, on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:30 AM until the time of the service with Pastor George H. Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Borth Cemetery.
