Lynn Christine Devlin, age 70, passed away February 5, 2016 at Affinity Medical Center, Oshkosh with her loved ones by her side. She was born December 26, 1945 in Oshkosh to the late Duane and Lorraine (Zimmerman) Abrams. Lynn was united in marriage to Merritt (Wayne) Devlin on May 22, 1965.Lynn was a 1965 graduate of Oshkosh High School. She worked as an aide at Mercy Medical Center, then as a cook for the Omro School District and retired after 35 years of service as head cook. Lynn was a devoted mother to her sons whom she loved more than anything in the world. She also loved shopping and was a collector of dolls.Lynn is survived by three sons, William (Christina) Devlin, Mark Devlin, Scott Devlin; sister, Sharon Derus; brother, Terry (Val) Abrams; granddaughters, Meghann and Cassie; sisters-in-law, Linda Baerwald, Sandy (Ron) Bartol; brother-in-law, Dennis (Patricia) Devlin; aunt, Eleanore Felker; nieces, nephews and cousins. Those who have preceded Lynn, are her parents, Duane and Lorraine Abrams; grandparents, William and Viola Zimmerman, Frank and Ruby Abrams, father and mother-in-law, Merritt and Valinda Devlin; baby brother, Duane Abrams, Jr.; brothers-in-law, Butch Baerwald and Ed Derus. She also leaves behind her beloved kitties, Oscar and Mamma.The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home in Omro on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 p.m., with Pastor Bartholomew officiating. Lynn will be laid to rest at Lake View Memorial Park, Wednesday, at 12:00 p.m.A special thank you to staff at Affinity Intensive Care and her physicians for their wonderful care and support.Lynn, Mama, wife, sister, friend, you will always be in our hearts.
