Mabel J. Lincoln, age 99 of Omro died Friday, February 5, 2010 at the Omro Care Center. She was born April 22, 1910, the daughter of Albert and Jennie (Stever) Jones. She married Will Farrin and later married Lester Lincoln, both husbands preceded her in death. In Mabel's spare time she like to cook, cookies were always a favorite by anyone who ate them. She was a real people person and was known throughout her neighborhood because of the artisan well she had. Almost everyone in town stopped to take a drink at one time or another.

Mabel is survived by her sister, Lucia Treleven of Omro; niece, Lylalu (Robert) Paffenroth of Winneconne; nephew, David (Shirley) Treleven of Omro; several other nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; and siblings, Ruby Clifford, Edna Blaha, Robert Jones, E. Milton Jones, and Bess Boykin.

Funeral service for Mabel will take place at 2:00pm on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 300 North Eagle Street. The family will greet friends on Thursday at the funeral chapel from 1:00pm until the time of service.
