Obituary

Marcella "Marcie" J. Collins, age 80, passed away on January 28, 2025, in Ripon, Wisconsin. She was born shortly after her twin brother on August 2, 1944, to parents Robert and Mae (Anderson) Collins, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Marcie worked many years for the Buckstaff Company in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. In 1972, she gave birth to her son, DuWayne in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

She enjoyed going on bus trips with her sisters and going to casinos. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. The bond between her and her siblings was unbreakable. Marcie will be remembered for being kind, caring and giving.

She is survived by her son, DuWayne (Bonnie) Hess; grandson, Branden; siblings, Christine Applebee; Roberta Haase, Maynard Collins, Robert Collins and Kathy (David) Rymer; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert and Mae (Anderson) Collins, brothers-in-law, Les Applebee and Paul Haase.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church, 720 Jackson Ave., Omro, Wisconsin, 54963, from 9:00am to 11:00am with Service to immediately follow. Her final resting place will be at Lake View Memorial Cemetery, 2786 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

The family would like to thank all of the staff at Whispering Pines in Ripon, for taking good care of Marcie during her transition.
