Margaret A. Brickham, age 80, of Oshkosh, died Sunday morning, February 17, 2013, at Eastbrooke Manor. Born in Winfield, Kansas on June 7, 1932, the daughter of Edgar and Freada (Casper) Wilson, Margaret married William C. Brickham in Oshkosh on October 17, 1959. William preceded Margaret in death on October 5, 2010.
Margaret was a long-time sales clerk for Prange's and later PrangeWay until her retirement. She was an avid volunteer at Mercy Medical Center, working in the gift shop. A special part of her life was time spent with her grandchildren.
Survivors include three children, Brenda (Gerald) Oaks of Oshkosh, Tracy (friend-Jean) Brickham of Sheboygan, and Tony Brickham of Oshkosh; three grandchildren, Jamie (Ross) Boucher, Jessica Oaks, and Zachary Brickham. Preceding Margaret in death is her husband, parents, and a sister, Helen Jean.
In keeping with Margaret's wishes, there will be no formal visiting time or funeral service. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Her family wishes to thank the staff of Eastbrooke Manor and the nurses of Heartland Hospice for the tender care given to their mother these past months.
