Margaret "Marge" Schneider, age 89, of Oshkosh died Monday, June 8, 2009 at Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation Center. She was born on January 1, 1920 in Winneconne to Carl and Rose (Kline) Youngwirth. She moved to Oshkosh with her family when she was very young. Margaret married Clifford Schneider on March 16, 1940 in Oshkosh and he preceded her in death on October 7, 1981. She was employed by Pluswood Company and the Lennox Candle Company prior to her retirement. In her spare time Margaret enjoyed reading, sewing and knitting.

Margaret is survived by her son: Richard (Patricia) Schneider of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Edward (Andrea) Schneider, George (Gail) Schneider, Allen (Karen) Schneider, Sharon (Will) Kriz; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers, Harold and Franz Youngwirth.

Funeral service for Margaret will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, with Deacon Pat Gelhar officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
