Obituary

Margaret A. "Peggy" Watson, age 80, of Oshkosh, died Thursday afternoon, February 27, 2014, at Evergreen . Born on April 1, 1933, in Milwaukee, Peggy taught elementary school in Manitowoc for one year before moving to Oshkosh. She was a substitute teacher for various schools in the Oshkosh area before being employed as an Administrative Assistant for 18 years at Mercy Medical Center prior to her retirement.
Always making friends no matter where she was, Peggy enjoyed playing Bridge, ballroom dancing, gardening, and cooking.
Survivors include three children, Susan (Baxter Richardson) Watson of Madison, Chris (Anne) Watson of Altoona, and Timothy (Jennifer) Watson of Madison; three grandchildren, Austin, Ian, and Colin; and a long-time companion, Alvin Hintz of Oshkosh. Preceding Peggy in death is a son, John Watson, and a daughter, Kathleen Watson.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 3, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. in Evergreen Chapel, 1130 N. Westfield, with Pastor Nancy Green officiating. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held at the chapel from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Online condolences to the family may be made www.seefeldfuneral.com.
