Obituary
Marie H. (Schultz) Hintz, age 80, passed away on October 13, 2023, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She was born to parents, Clarence, and Irma (Heise) Schultz, on January 17, 1943.
She attended Oshkosh High School and started a family, raising her two boys. Then she started working at the garment factory and obtained higher levels of manufacturing jobs.
Marie was a very giving person, not only monetarily, but with her time. She could often be found volunteering at St. Vincent De Paul's or including everyone at the holiday dinner table. She enjoyed keeping up family traditions and making recipes, especially her holiday cookies and candies. She was also what some would call a Master Gardner of vibrant flowers. Marie also enjoyed being a fashionista, traveling to new sites, sewing, coloring, collecting dolls, attending to her cats, birdwatching, and she was a very detailed and organized person. She truly made use of the motto "a place for everything and everything in it's place."
Survivors include her two children, Jeffrey (Kerith) Hintz and Rodney Hintz; her significant other, Lynn Krause; granddaughter, Danielle (Jackson) Herd; and brother, Gordy Schultz.
Preceding her in death ware her parents, and brother, Kenneth Schultz.
Visitation will take place at Seefeld Funeral Home, 1025 Oregon St., Oshkosh, Wisconsin 54902, on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, with service to follow. A private burial will take place at Wilhelmina Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff at Edenbrook in Oshkosh and Aurora Hospice for their care and compassion in her final days. They would also like to thank Pastor Jesse Knopp, for traveling to officiate her service.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to some of her favorite charities, such as St. Vincent De Paul, and the Boys and Girl's Club in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
